YSL Beauty brought their unmistakable brand flavor to Coachella 2026 with a two-day activation, turning an Indio roadside stop into a retro beauty destination. The site featured glam makeovers, interactive social moments, and appearances by brand ambassadors Laura Harrier, Drew Starkey, Maria Zardoya, and Anthony Keyvan. A performance from Young Miko and Miguel anchored the weekend, making the site one of the most documented destinations of the festival.
Industrial Color partnered with the YSL Beauty team and director/DP Ben Dolenc to realize the vision and document the energy of the event. We built momentum leading up to the reveal, using a hybrid approach to bring the retro California desert experience to life. On site, Industrial Color led content capture and overnight post-production, delivering retouched stills and edited video in near real time.
Coverage included teaser assets, wild postings, performance highlights, empty-space photography, VIP photo and video moments, trend-driven social content, and sizzle reels documenting the entire experience.
